Independent Practice:   Mrs. Jenison’s class looks at different ways to make a pattern in a line.
Ms. Markwardt’s Class takes MAP test in the computer lab

Read Aloud: Bubble Factory
Continue to discuss the characteristics of a bubble
Writing:  Write descriptive words describing bubbles.
Math:
Ms. Markwardt will introduce Lining Up Exemplar
Mrs. Jenison’s class will practice lining up exemplar and discuss ways to make a pattern in a line.
Wednesday, Oct. 17
Science
Make a list of the different characteristics a bubble has.
Math: 
Continue to practice lining up exemplar and ways to make a pattern in a line.

Notes from the Teacher:
* Please stick an extra pair of socks in your child’s backpack for PE days.
* Please keep helping your child learn to tie his/her shoes if they do not know how.
*Picture Retakes are October 16.
*Please make sure your child is dressed appropriately for the day.  With the cooler weather, a sweatshirt or jacket in your child’s backpack is a good idea.  Morning recess has been a bit chilly.
*First Quarter Conferences will be Tuesday and Thursday, Oct 23 and 25. No school on Fri. Oct 26.
*If you have not sent your $2 party money, please try and do so soon.
