A Few Bits of Info
Dear Families,
I would like to thank all of you for coming to your child’s conference last week. We had 100% attendance in our room. It is great to have parent support like that. Please feel free to call or e-mail me anytime with any questions or concerns that you may have at 444-4300 ext. 350 or debbie.jenison@belmond-klemme.k12.ia.us.
I would like to welcome Emmanuel Ellis to our class. He joined us a couple of weeks ago. We now have 24 students in our room. Please keep that in mind when your child brings the snack bucket.
Our class is taking the MAP testing this afternoon and Thursday afternoon. It is an individualized test in math and reading that will let me know where your child is at in both of those areas. We will take the MAP test three times a year.
I have added some additional pictures to my blog. If you would like to be able to view them you may go to the Belmond-Klemme website. The address is www.belmond-klemme.k12.ia.us. Once you are there, click on the BK Blogs tab at the top of the page, then the Richard O. tab at the top of that page, and then click on the Mrs. D. Jenison tab. There you will find class pictures, newsletters, and snack and specials calendars.
Will you please help your child remember to bring back his/her library book every week? We have library check-out on Mondays and we have a number of students who have not been able to check out a new book for a number of weeks because they keep forgetting their book at home. If everyone in the class brings their book back, the class earns a sticker from the librarian and once we have five stickers, we get to have a party in the library. So far this year we have one sticker.
Have a great week,
Mrs. Jenison

I would like to take a moment to thank Brandy Crawford and Meghan Suhocki for putting on our Halloween party. It takes a lot of time to plan and put on a school party and this one was full of games, treats, and goody bags. The kids had a wonderful time. There are some pictures from the party on the blog.
