Activity:  Brainstorm ways we use water on the promethean board
Independent Work:  Write/Draw about one way you use water.

Read:  10, 9, 8

Homework:  Ask an adult at home to name one way he/she uses water.
Thursday -

Read Aloud:  Sink or Float
Large Group Experiment:  Items that Sink and Items that Float
Science:  Water Exemplar
Math:  4-9  Ordinal #’s thru 10
Play:  Lively Line
Independent Work:  Worksheet 93-94
Science:  Water Assessment

*Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Nov 1st (2-6pm) and 3rd (4-8pm).  We look forward to sharing your child’s progress with you!
*Please continue to practice letter recognition, consonant sounds, number recognition 1-20 and beyond, counting objects to 20 and beyond, tying shoes, and zipping coats at home.
* Take home folders should be emptied nightly at home and returned to school the following day.
*Thank you to our room parents who planned and hosted our parties on Friday!  Your hard work is very much appreciated!
