Read Aloud:  10 Fat Turkeys
Turkey Craft
Map Testing:  Mrs. Jenision
Math: 4-10  Growing Patterns
Use math boxes to create growing patterns
Independent Work:  pg 95  Worksheet
Homework:  Make a growing pattern to show an adult at home.  Ideas for materials:  cereal, pasta, silverware, etc.
Tuesday

Poetry Notebook:  “Turkey in the Barnyard”
Map Testing:  Ms. Markwardt

Homework:  Read I See to an adult at home.  Add book to your home library.
Friday

Phonetic Awareness:  Beginning sound /m/
Read Aloud:  Brown Bear, Brown Bear
Activity:  Brainstorm Thanksgiving Words for Writer’s Workshop
Create Class Book:  Mr. Turkey, Mr. Turkey
Math:  Practice Farmer Brown Exemplar
Homework:  Name 4 words beginning with the /m/ sound.

*Thank you to all of you who attended Parent/Teacher Conferences!  We enjoyed sharing your youngster’s kindergarten progress with you!
*Please continue to practice letter recognition, consonant sounds, number recognition 1-20 and beyond, counting objects to 20 and beyond, tying shoes, and zipping coats at home.
* Take home folders should be emptied nightly at home and returned to school the following day.
*There will be no school November  23, 24, and 25.
*Your child now needs a hat and gloves/mittens for recess each day.
