Monday

Activity:  Writing Activity/I am a citizen of….
Math: Lining Up Exemplar
Read:  Rules
Concept:  Why do we have rules?
Homework:  Name 1 rule you follow at home.  Explain to an adult how rules help us.

Tuesday

Phonemic Awareness:  Blending Phonemes with Picture Cards
Read Aloud:  Too Many Toys
Concepts:  Responsibilities
Activity:  Name one responsibility you have at home and one that you have at school
Math:  Lining Up Exemplar

Parent/Teacher Conferences 2-6pm
Wednesday

Read Aloud:  Recycling
Concept:  ways we help our world
Activity:  Create a 3 window foldable/Show ways we help the world
Math:  Lining Up Exemplar  
Homework:  Brainstorm ways your family helps our world.  Example:  recycling, planting trees, picking up trash, etc.


Thursday
Word Work:  here, go, I, see, is, a, to
Phonemic Awareness:  Blending Phonemes
Read Aloud:  The Pledge of Allegiance
Concept:  Why do we say the pledge?
Math:  Lining up Assessment
Social Studies:  Citizenship Assessment
Homework:  Explain to an adult what our countries flag looks like.

Parent/Teacher Conferences 4-8pm

Friday
No Classes
Notes from the Teacher:
*There are no classes on Monday, March 26th!!
*Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held on Tuesday, March 20 (2-6pm), and Thursday, March 22 (4-8pm).
*Jacobson Elementary will be hosting a book fair during conferences!
*20 Basic Kindergarten Words:  of, the, was, he, it, is, with, be, as, they, for, a, on, at, and, that, in, to, are, you.  Please practice these words at home with your child and encourage him/her to use them when writing.
