Kindergarten News Oct. 7-11

Monday, October 7

Kindergarten Field Trip to Fort Dodge Community Orchards
Please send a sack lunch and drink to school with your child.  All lunches should be labeled with your child’s name.  Kindergartners should also be dressed appropriately for the weather…please layer clothing and remember to wear tennis shoes.  We will be leaving Jacobson around 8:20am and will return around 2:30pm.

Healthy Living Walk at Jacobson.  Please send your child in a warm coat and tennis shoes today!
Thursday, October 10    Remember to bring a peeled and cored apple to school today!  We will be making applesauce!

Notes from the Teacher:
*If you have not done so yet, please send $2 for parties.  The money is used to buy supplies for our 3 parties.
*Please send a peeled and cored apple to school with your child on Thursday, October 10.  We will be making applesauce in kindergarten.
*Skills we are working on:  Counting and number recognition 0-10, upper/lower letter recognition, writing our first names, and simple graphs.
*A Friendly Reminder to:  Check Take Home folders nightly and Return to School. J
