Notes from the Teachers:
*On Friday, September 23rd, please send a peeled and cored apple to school with your child.  We will be making homemade applesauce in our classrooms.
*Please continue to reinforce at home what is taught at school:  name writing, letter recognition (e, Ff, G), and patterning.
*Please encourage your child to TRY to read the books we make at school aloud at home!  This is a great opportunity to attempt to sound out words and discuss the illustrations.
*As the weather begins to cool down, you may want to send your child to school with a jacket or sweatshirt in his/her bag.  Please continue to work on shoe tying if your child is not able to tie their own shoes.
*On early Out/Inservice Wednesdays, kindergarten students are dismissed at 1:35.
