Dear Parent(s),
Our 100th day of school is quickly approaching. If all goes as planned, and the weather cooperates, we will be celebrating on Monday, February3rd.
Our three sections of kindergarten and one section of Kindergarten prep will be working together on a variety of 100 day activities. Each class will be split into four groups. The kids will then be mixed with children from the other kindergarten classes. Each section will rotate through each of the classrooms to participate in different hands-on activities which explore the concept of 100.
To help us explore the concept of 100, we are asking that each child brings in 100 items. The 100 items need to fit inside a gallon size Ziplock bag and the bag should be labeled with your child’s name. Examples of items would be pennies, noodles, marbles, M & M’s, Froot Loops, etc. Please send the items to school with your child on Tuesday, January 28th.
We are also asking for your help in providing a food item for a 100 day snack. Please send the highlighted item below to school with your child by Tuesday, January 28th. The kids will cook up some trail mix for a snack that will be eaten on our 101st day of school. We will be enjoying our treats and watching 101 Dalmatians to celebrate all of our hard work and effort for 100 wonderful days of school.
As always, thank you for your help!
Ms. Gabrielson, Mrs. Jenison, Miss Maas, Ms. Markwardt
