Reminders:
·         Please begin helping your child to learn to tie his/her shoes.  This is a skill that needs to be learned by the end of December.  Teachers will no longer help after winter break.
·         Research shows that children who are read to nightly for at least 15 minutes do better in school.  We would like to encourage our kindergarten families to read nightly to their children.
·         The kindergartners will participate in MAP testing this week.  Math and literacy are the focus of this test.
·         Please remember to send a warm jacket to school with your child.  The weather is getting cooler.
