Reminders:
·
Please
begin helping your child to learn to tie his/her shoes. This is a skill that needs to be learned by
the end of December. Teachers will no
longer help after winter break.
·
Research
shows that children who are read to nightly for at least 15 minutes do better
in school. We would like to encourage
our kindergarten families to read nightly to their children.
·
The
kindergartners will participate in MAP testing this week. Math and literacy are the focus of this
test.
·
Please
remember to send a warm jacket to school with your child. The weather is getting cooler.

Jenison, Miss Maas, and Ms. Markwardt
