Reminders:
·         Please begin helping your child to learn to tie his/her shoes.  This is a skill that needs to be learned by the end of December.  Teachers will no longer help after winter break.
·         The weather is beginning to change…PLEASE make sure to send your child to school in a warm coat/sweatshirt, gloves, and a hat.  We have recess twice each day, and it is much more enjoyable when dressed appropriately.
·         Thank you for continuing to complete nightly homework with your child and returning it to school.
·         This quarter we will work on:  Upper/Lower Case Recognition, Consonant Sounds, Basic Kindergarten Words, Counting and Number Recognition to 20 and beyond, and New Math Concepts.  Please continue to practice these concepts at home.

Mrs. Jenison, Miss Maas, and Ms. Markwardt
